Community Hospital North
Providing convenient access to excellent care has been Community North's goal ever since the hospital opened in 1985.  Located on the Northeast side of Indianapolis, Community North is positioned in what has consistently been one of the fastest growing areas in Indiana. Restorative, easy-to-use and advanced, the new Community Hospital North is a strikingly different kind of health care setting. The Community Hospital North Expansion was featured in two national publications as a national model in creating consumer driven health care.  The expansion includes a new six-story patient tower and more than doubled the size of Community Hospital North. The expansion added more than 850,000 square feet including 282 private patient guest suites with room for 48 more suites in the future, the largest collection of private labor and delivery suites (60 beds) in the country, neonatal intensive care unit with private rooms, consolidated outpatient services, emergency services, pediatric suites and observation rooms on first floor, 48 private, ultra-modern inpatient surgical care suites on the second floor and a preoperative clinic to help patients prepare for surgery.
