St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers
St. Francis Hospital & Health Centers is one of the largest tertiary-care hospitals in central Indiana. It has been a fixture on the Southside of Indianapolis since 1914,  with three campuses in the greater Indianapolis area.  St. Francis is part of a 12-hospital system with facilities throughout Indiana and Illinois, operated by the Sisters of St. Francis Health Services, Inc.  The three central Indiana hospitals serve more than 760,000 outpatients and 23,000 inpatients yearly. It has 4,200 employees and over 750 physicians.    St. Francis was recently named one of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Solucient.  The hospitals are only minutes from downtown Indianapolis. This allows easy access to numerous cultural, sporting, entertainment, recreation, shopping and religious facilities and events.
