Henry County Memorial Hospital
Henry County Hospital provides a level of sophisticated medical care and technology not typically found in a community this size. Our patients primarily come from New Castle, Henry County and western Wayne County. This service area encompasses nearly 60,000 residents including New Castle with a population of around 30,000. The Hospital is the largest employer in the County with nearly 1100 employees. Our collegial active/courtesy medical staff is 97% board certified/board eligible and practice in 27 different medical specialties. In the last three years the Hospital implemented a multi-million facility upgrade including the 62-bed Patient Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, lobby and registration and Emergency Department.
