Good Samaritan Hospital
Good Samaritan Hospital is a values-driven hospital providing high quality care in a patient-centered atmosphere to a service area of over 225,000 people. The hospital is licensed for 232 beds, offers employment to over 1500, and has an active medical staff of 86 physicians. More than 30,000 people receive care in our newly remodeled Emergency Department each year and the hospital conducts over 233,000 outpatient visits in a year. Our hospital offers a stand alone Same Day Surgery Center designed with input from physicians. The center provides a high-tech setting for physicians, including the most modern technology, and an OR suite with windows offering an uplifting environment for staff. We recently celebrated an open house for the newly constructed, 25,000 sq. feet Cancer Pavilion. The Pavilion houses the established Breast Care Center, offering the latest in diagnostic tools and treatment procedures, and the newly expanded Radiation Therapy Department, featuring state-of-the-art linear accelerator, one of the most advanced methods for delivering radiation therapy.
